History

593 CE: Printing was in use under Chinese Emperor Wan-ti.^{[1, p.77]}

C10th CE: Printing became more common in China. Prior to this is was not very popular.^{[1, p.77]}

1454: The first printing press in Europe was established in Mentz (Mayence).^{[1, p.77]}

1467: The first printing press in Rome was established.^{[1, p.77]}

1470: The first printing press in Paris was established.^{[1, p.77]}

1477: The first printing press in Westminster was established.^{[1, p.78]}

1507: The first printing press in Edinburgh was established.^{[1, p.78]}

1525: The first printing press in Wilna (Russia) was established.^{[1, p.78]}

1551: The first printing press in Dublin was established.^{[1, p.78]}
