History

593 CE: Printing was in use under Chinese Emperor Wan-ti.[1, p.77]

C10th CE: Printing became more common in China. Prior to this is was not very popular.[1, p.77]

1454: The first printing press in Europe was established in Mentz (Mayence).[1, p.77]

1467: The first printing press in Rome was established.[1, p.77]

1470: The first printing press in Paris was established.[1, p.77]

1477: The first printing press in Westminster was established.[1, p.78]

1507: The first printing press in Edinburgh was established.[1, p.78]

1525: The first printing press in Wilna (Russia) was established.[1, p.78]

1551: The first printing press in Dublin was established.[1, p.78]
