Strabo

Strabo (64 BC – 24 AD).

Princeton University Library lists 19 MSS. Two date as early as the 5th century and the rest date after the 9th century. [1]

Two are listed by the Bodleian. Both date to the 15th century.[2] Out of these two, “MS. Canon. Class. Lat. 301” possibly has book 1 of Strabo’s Geography, which is where the mention of Homer as the Father of Geography is located. That MS has 18th century provenance at the earliest.[3]
