Solar Eclipses Recorded in Historical Documents

This article contains a list of solar eclipses that have been recorded in writings. The list is a simplified version of the one from NASA’s website. The eclipses are listed by date, oldest to youngest, followed by the record in which they are contained. This list is not complete and more eclipses will be added when I find their dates and sources.
