This article traces Islamic manuscripts to their earliest confirmable date. It is far from extensive, so please email me information if you would like it added.

1400s – Lex Mahumet pseudoprophete criticized (first latin translation of Quran)

1630s – William Bedwell donated a Quran to Cambridge University Library

1649 – first english version of the Quran

1798 – Codex Parisino-petropolitanus discovered

1869 – Samarkand Kufic Quran, appears in the Khoja Ahrar Mosque

1800s – Tapkapi manuscript appears as a gift

1972 – Sana’a manuscript discovered

1920s – Mingana Collection discovered

1987 – oldest printed Quran discovered (printed c 1537-1538)
