The Pomegranate Inscription

There is an ivory pomegranate in the Israel Museum that has become famous due to the debates about the genuineness of the inscription written on it. The common belief is that the ivory pomegranate itself is an ancient specimen, but that the inscription upon it is a modern forgery.
