Adam & Eve with Ralph Ellis

These are my notes on MythVision Podcast’s The real historical Adam & Eve with Ralph Ellis YouTube video.

They start out by talking about Egypt.

@c.3:00 – Israelites came from Egypt and borrowed a lot from Egyptian culture.

The Technicolor Dreamcoat of Joseph borrowed from the Tale of Two Brothers. The Nile turning red comes from the destruction of mankind. The Ten Commandments is the Judgments of the Dead. Sermon on Mount and Lord’s comes from Maxims of Ani. Proverbs 22 comes from instructions of Amenemopet?.

@4:16 – next thought from Derek – Mainstream critical non-believing scholarship say that Adam, Moses, David aren’t real people, they never existed outside of the tales.

Ellis claims he bases his ideas on demonstrably real people and real events.
Genesis is not the beginning of the story. It’s been put there because someone looked at it and thought it was a creation myth. The narrative is from the 18th dynasty.

The Hymn to the Aten is what Genesis is taken from. The Hymn talks about a new day while the Bible talks about

Akhenaten was the first mono-theist. Displacing the gods of old. Genesis’ Garden of Eden is the Garden of Akhen(aten) and the rivers are the Nile which splits to the north. Moses supposedly called one of the four rivers the Nile.
Aten is more accurately pronounced “EE-ten”, not “AW-ten”.

The Garden might have been Egypt itself. Or it’s talking about the Delta being the garden. Or maybe the actual garden created for the god himself.
There was a practice of building gardens for the gods. A paradise of sorts for the gods.

@11:34 – Who is Adam and Eve?
Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Probably Akhenaten and Kiya though. Kiya has a similar name to Eve. My personal thought is this might be reflected also in Lilith then Eve, where Adam remains the same person. “HA-vuh” / “KEE-uh”.

Akhenaten and Nefertiti use to stroll through their garden naked. Many depictions survive of them being naked. They gave out awards to dignitaries while naked.

Akhenaten settled a new city in the center of Egypt, between North and South. The snake imagery is the symbol of Egypt. There’s no evidence Akhentaten and Kiya were killed in their city, but there is evidence that they were exiled and died elsewhere.

Personal note: Ellis mentions throwing out the gods, this is similar to the Moses story the Price mentioned about throwing out the false idols, pertaining to the bronze snake.

Egypt didn’t prosper under Akhenaten, and there was a rebellion against him, and he was thrown out. Possible negative report due to the report being written by Akhenaten’s enemy?.

@c.20:31 – Derek interjects to bring up the serpents in the Bible. Talks about poor bummy Moses challenging the Pharaoh and how it never made sense to him. Asks what’s the tree in the garden?

Ellis says they have an image of it in a temple. It is a family tree. Each member is a fruit. The tree of Seti I and Thoth is inscribing the name into the fruit and hanging it on the tree of knowledge. *People being represented as plants/trees/fruits are in other cultures myths too.

Akhenaten and his two wives are thrown out of the country. Pharaoh “Eye” also got thrown out. Aaron and Moses were the brothers Akhenaten and Thutmose I. Parallels between Akhenaten art and that of the Minoans. He went to Greece or somewhere nearby after his exile.

@c.31:00 – Ellis talks about an exile where people go from Egypt to Jerusalem and destroy Jericho. This is from real history, not the bible. It is the Hyksos exile. Difference between Bible history and real history is that the real history is from around 1600 BC and the Biblical story is around 1300 BC. Aside from that difference it’s exactly the same.

@c.34:43 – talking about the bull myths.
Joseph goes back and say “Be careful what you say”. For every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians. His brothers mess up. Shepherds were never taboo in Egypt. This story is not about agriculture, it’s about astrology.
The millennial calendar. The conversation about bulls and sheep, Taurus and Aries. They couldnt say shepherds because of the Hyksos incident, gotta say bullworshippers so they can get back into Egypt.

1750 BC – Taurus changes to Aries in the dawn sky under precession. Entering the great month of Aries. The great year is 26,000 years. Great month should be about 2200 years long. This happened in 1750 BC. Changing from bull worship to sheep worship. Alexander the Great, Moses, Ptolemies, all had ram horns because of this.

@c.48:20 – Derek is talking. Asking about Ellis’ book “Thoth: Architect of the Universe”. They talk a bit about Freemasonry, of which Ellis is one so he knows what it’s about. Great pyramid had steps, the whole reason for it was as an astronomical construction. There was a flat top on top of the pyramid.
How is it possible the Christians lost Mount Sinai? It has never been found.
God lived in the cave in the side of Mount Sinai. At the bottom of the mountain was a black pavement that looked like the night sky. Mount Sinai is the Great Pyramid of Giza. The black basalt at the bottom of the pyramid. Great Pyramid, 40 times Pi.

@c.55:00. No mention of Great Pyramid in the Old Testament, regardless of the closeness of the characters geographically to it.

Ellis talks about the walking around the mountain stuff being related to humans recreating the motion of the stars. As above so below, the people are the stars circling the temple.

@c.59:40 – Derek brings up the cube. Black cube specifically. Ellis says the Kaaba is a piece of the Holy Grail. The Omphalos Stone being a sacred stone taken throughout all history. The primary disciples name was Simon, but his title was Peter, because it means stone, because he was the keeper of the sacred stone/the holy grail. Rumor has it a piece of the stone is in the Kaaba, the stone of which is a small piece of the Holy Grail.

Back to shepherd kings. 1600 BC, big exodus of the Hyksos. One of their kings is called Jacob. Actually, two of the kings were called Jacob. Mamabra (Abraham) also was a king.

Mentions the golden calf story of Moses.
Personal note: This might place Abraham after Moses if the bull to ram shift holds weight.

Jesus is a fisher of men because it changes from Aries to Pisces.

@c.1:08:00 – Ellis mentions volcano, biggest eruption Europe ever saw. Eruption of Thera.
1600-1625 BC for eruption. Exodus of Hyksos in 1570 BC.
Talking about volcanoes reported in relation to Moses.
Egyptian army destroyed by the sea because they were walking where the sea used to be and then the sea came back and killed them.
Three days of darkness, ashfall, pillar of fire/smoke, Pharoah’s army. This is evidence of an eye witness event of the Santorini eruption.
Derek brings up the winter solstice.
Samson/Jonah/Jesus/Jason and the Argonauts/etc. Three days of darkness.

Great bronze monster throwing rocks. Guns/cannons? Ellis says volcano. The whole of the island fell into a hole. This is what causes the tsunami.
