Biography of Nicolò Carmine Falcone

Nicolò Carmine Falcone (1681-1759) is also known as N. Carminio Falcone, Nic. Carminium Falconium, Nic. Carminii Falconii, Nicolao Carminio Falconio, and Falconi.

1681 – He is born in Lagonegro.

1708 – He is ordained deacon and then priest.

1713 – His L’intera Istoria is printed.

1733 – He is consecrated bishop of Martirano.

1743 – He is appointed to metropolitan archbishop of Santa Severina.

1751 – His Sancti confessoris pontificis et celeberrimi thaumaturgi Nicolai acta primigenia nuper detecta, & eruta ex unico & veteri codice membranaceo Vaticano per Nic. Carminium Falconium is printed in Naples

1755 – His Ad Capponianas Ruthenas tabulas commentarius auctore is printed in Rome.

1758 – His Prosphoneticon is printed in Naples.

1759 – He dies in Santa Severina.
