Biography of Marcus Antonius Coccius Sabellicus

This article contains a biography of Marcus Antonius Coccius Sabellicus (1436–1506), also known as Sabellico. He is best known for his universal history, Enneades sive Rhapsodia historiarum.

1436 – He is born.

1473 – He becomes professor of eloquence at Udine.

1482 – He is dismissed from his position as professor. He writes a work on the city of Aquileia.

1487 – He is appointed as a curator of the Biblioteca Marciana.

1498 – He publishes Enneades sive Rhapsodia historiarum.

1506 – He dies.

1560 – His collected works are publishes in Basle.
