Biography of Ralph Brooke

This article contains a concise biographical timeline for Ralph Brooke (1553–1625). He is known today for critiquing the works of his contemporaries.

1553 – He is born.

1580 – He becomes Rouge Croix Pursuivant

1593 – He becomes York Herald.

1597 – He publishes A Discoverie of Certaine Errours Published in Print in the Much Commended ‘Britannia’ 1594.

1619 – He publishes Catalogue and Succession of the Kings, Princes, Dukes, Marquesses, Earles and Viscounts of this Realme of England since the Norman Conquest.

1625 – He dies.
