Auxiliary Sciences of History

There are two main categories for the Auxiliary Sciences of History.

1 – Major – Geography, GeoHistory, Geophysics, Linguistics, Lexicology, Phonetics, Dialectology, Grammar, Stylistics, Onomastics, Paleontology, Geology, Anthropology, Ethnography, Sociology, Law, Biology, Psychology.

2 – Minor – There are two branches for this second category: indirect information and direct information.
Indirect: Bibliology, Codicology, Museology, Archaeology, Papyrology, Metrology, Numismatics, Archival Science, Paleography, Cryptography.
Direct: Chronology, Epigraphy, Sigillography, Heraldry, Genealogy, Diplomatics, Philology.
